First-Screen Scientific Authority Rules
Purpose
Every major science page must orient the reader with authority and clarity before the scroll. This document establishes the non-negotiable elements required above the first section heading.
Required First-Screen Elements
Every primary science page must show, without scrolling:
- One precise thesis — what this theory or framework actually is
- One status/boundary marker — its formalization state and review position
- One core relation to the corpus — how it connects to SFR, DFT, or PHYSICA
- One path to deeper review — link to the monograph or review dossier
- No duplicate CTAs — a single primary next step only
- No long media or video block — media belongs below the first H2
- No excessive route grid — card grids above fold compress authority
- No unbounded claims — every thesis must include its status boundary

| Pattern | Reason |
|---|---|
| Multiple competing MeshButton CTAs | Dilutes clarity |
| Repeated provenance disclaimer paragraphs | Visual noise |
| Large card grids or route panels | Pushes thesis below fold |
| Media carousel or video embed | Not orientation-first |
| Speculative claims without status | Boundary violation |
| User dashboard or login CTA | Wrong audience signal |
