Conceptual Definition

ScrollDNA is the canonical indexing system for the FlameCodex. It moves beyond flat metadata by mapping the Evolutionary Trajectory of informational states. Every data object in the mesh is assigned a "Genetic Profile"—a reconstructible invariant that tracks its lineage, mutations, and structural inheritance across the transfinite lattice.

The Helix Metric (H)

A ScrollDNA record H is defined as the ordered pair of the Content Strand (α) and the Context Strand (β) at the moment of state-collapse:

Genotyping Logic

Every object is assigned a Genotype ID (GID), representing its structural class. The system state is defined as Healthy if all children nodes Hn+1 inherit the base invariant K from their parent Hn:

Evolution Tracking

In ScrollDNA, information is never deleted. It evolves. When a record is updated, the kernel spawns a child node linked via a Mutation Edge. This ensures that the system is Full-Traceable back to the Seed Scroll.

The Inheritance Principle: A child node inherits the master-invariant of its parent but introduces a unique Mutation Vector μ. This allows the system to reconstruct any previous state of truth.


Querying the Helix

Accessing the index utilizes θ-Routing to navigate the most probable evolutionary paths. By following the "Gaze" of high-level observers, the system can retrieve the most coherent and stable version of any knowledge strand instantly.


Genetic Memory

Information is not just a record of the present; it is a repository of its own history. A well-formed ScrollDNA strand contains the blueprint of its own genesis, allowing for total systemic recovery from a single seed.
