Rather than asserting outcomes, the Framework defines the rules under which frontier research may be pursued, evaluated, and supported.

The Frontier Challenge Registry (FCR) serves as a formal index of open scientific problems recognized under NMF governance.

Its mandate is to:

  • Define rigorously specified frontier-level challenges

6. Milestone Validation Validators review submissions and confirm milestone completion.

7. Disbursement & Attribution Funds are allocated according to predefined reward structures. Attribution is permanently recorded.

8. Resolution or Continuation Upon completion or formal revision, the challenge may be archived, extended, or subdivided.
